Every once in a while you come across such ideal restaurants that reinstate your faith in the magic of dining out. And just like that, in the lanes of Delhi’s Vasant Kunj, we stumbled upon one such perfect destination that ticked all the right boxes on our ‘winter dining goals’ list.


Sitting quiet and pretty in South Delhi, Plattos Air Bar is a newbie in Delhi’s dynamic culinary landscape that should be on every foodie’s radar right now! They have a stylishly decorated indoor seating area that looks every bit classy and modern. But the real clincher here is the dreamy outdoor space. Complete with plush furnishings, faux vines, gorgeous lights, and extremely Instagrammable pretty nooks give the entire Alfresco area an almost whimsical look.


Once you’re done taking in the beauty of this restaurant, it's time to dive right into the delectable dining experience that is to follow. Their extensive menu houses a mélange of sumptuous multicuisine preparations that are sure to knock your socks off. From delicious European to flavorful Indian to piquant Chinese, Pllatos has got a bit of everything for everyone. And as it is primarily a bar, they have also got a lineup of great bespoke cocktails that will pair up nicely with the food.


Coming to our recommendations from their stellar curation, we started our gastronomic journey at this pretty place with two of their signature cocktails- ‘New Fashion’ (Gin based cocktails with a hint of Peach syrup) & ‘Life In A Local’ (Vodka Based cocktail), both of which stole our heart at first sip. If you are someone who LOVES sushi, then this is the place for you. They have a plump selection of great sushi that has been luring connoisseurs from far and wide since this place opened its doors. We sampled the Spicy Avocado and Dynamite Sushi (with crispy prawn & salmon) and we absolutely loved them.


From the Asian Starters section on the menu, Corn & Cheese Rolls with sweet chili sauce is a delightful little treat and so is the Korean Chicken that is served with a zesty Fire Cracker sauce.


Other exceptional preparations that chart our must-try list include devour-worthy options like the Charcoal Chicken Tikka, Marathi Style Paneer Tikka and the oh so delicious Caesar Salad, which featured just the perfect blend of crisp texture & fresh flavors.


If like us, you are also a dessert fanatic then you are in for a great time here. With so many decadent sweet treats to choose from, this is by far one of the best dessert serving restaurants in the city. After much contemplation, we decided to go with the Biscoff Cheesecake & Chocolate Mud Pie to end our dining experience on a sweeter note. While the Chocolate Mud Pie had an ultra-smooth yet rich mousse-like texture that hit just the right notes, it was the Biscoff Cheesecake that was clearly the piece de resistant here. A lighter than air cream consistency paired with a buttery graham cracker crust, and to top it all off, a drizzle of caramel sauce, this indulgent little thing is a treat for both your eyes and soul!
