Thai Pavilion - Talk of the Town!

It’s been 25 years since Thai Pavilion came in action & they continue to serve mind blowing Thai cuisine with a subtle earthiness and freshness that has become synonymous with the Southeast Asian kingdom.

Thai Pavilion, as its die-hard patrons addresses it as an urban legend. It took an extensive cuisine and cultural analysis for the hotel, including chefs training on the streets of Bangkok to fine-tune their Thai culinary skills, before the Pavilion opened its doors in the early ’90s for diners in Mumbai city.

Located in an upscale part of the megapolis, Thai Pavilion at Vivanta President, Mumbai, is one of the first premium dining experiences of The Indian Hotels Company Limited and is serving the best Thai food in the country. Even after two-and-a-half decades later, the restaurant is still rustling up exquisite meals amidst beautifully crafted Thai fretwork interiors and a marble-topped open kitchen.

What sets Thai Pavilion apart? The fresh ingredients and flavours make every bite mind-boggling, along with the passion and attention to detail with which the dishes are prepared. The ambience of this place is colourful with glass topped bar, the private dining area with sunken seats, and the perfect balance of traditional Thai art and contemporary interiors.

This place sets standard for outstanding Thai cuisine in the country! This is like taking a journey to Thailand, without leaving Mumbai. This place was introduced after intensive cuisine and culture study, in the ’90s and is now lead by Executive Chef Uddipan Chakravarthy, this restaurant is the hotspot for Thai food in Mumbai, with an ever-changing menu of contrasting sweet, sour and spice. All the seasonal fruits and vegetables make a fresh appearance at Thai Pavilion. After a dramatic makeover in 2007 by the famous Japanese designer Noriyoshi Muramatsu, Thai Pavilion opened its doors once again The staff here also recommends excellent pairing of food with a fine collection of young and vintage wines.
