Cuisines From The 7 Lands!

Emirati cuisine is a medley of Middle-Eastern and Asian cuisines. Because of the dry weather conditions, most dry spices such as cinnamon, saffron, and turmeric, along with nuts, lime and dried fruit enhance the flavours of the Emirati dishes. Emirati cuisine is a reflection of the UAE’s trading heritage – infused with spices and ingredients from throughout Asia and the Middle East. Here is a list of restaurants where you can find the best of authentic Emirati cuisine –

Logma – Located in Box Park, Logma is already a favourite spot for many food lovers. From breakfast to salads, everything is very authentic and flavourful. The ambience is very casual yet contemporary. Recommended dishes are Logma Fries, Logma Shrimp Chips and in desserts, Lugaimat is not to be missed.

Local Bites Café – Tucked on Jumeirah Beach Road, Local Bites is recently renewed and has opened its doors with more mouth-watering options on the menu. Elementary ambience and prompt service is the highlight of Local Bites. Apart from the local breakfast they serve, Jumeirah Khameer Sandwich and Jumeirah Special Coffee are recommended.

Al Fanar Restaurant & Café – Located in Dubai Festival City, dining in Al Fanar is more of an experience of authentic ancient interiors and the traditional true-to-the-roots food they serve with warm and friendly hospitality. The recommended dishes are Kabab Emirati, Lugaimat and Rice Pudding

Seven Sands – Located in Jumeirah Beach Residence, this interesting name is about the seven continents (sands) of UAE. From the name to the food, you will find traditional details in everything. With a spectacular view of the beach, you can enjoy some authentic dishes such as Fish Fouga and Baby Chicken Mashwi

Aseelah – Located in Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek, Aseelah is a reflection of traditional and authentic hospitality and food. The ambience gives a fine-dine restaurant feel and is more on the lavish and classic side. Recommended dishes are Parsnip and Almond Soup, Camel Sliders, Grilled Prawns and Date Pudding
