Try their top of the line ice-creams - Truffle, Confetti, Fig & Honey, Rose Pistachio and many other freshly made ice-creams. The place even serves soups, pizzas, kinds of pasta and light snacks in an all-vegetarian menu.

Shankar’s Ice-Cream Library, Off Sindhu Bhawan Road

Done up in a very modern style, this parlour is one of the new entrants in the gourmet ice-cream business. Located in the upcoming business area of Sindhu Bhawan Road, Shankar’s Ice-cream Library offers ice-cream and a few thick shakes. It also makes fresh cold stone ice-creams where you can choose your own toppings. Try the Tender Coconut Lichi and the Pista Truffle.

Natural Ice-cream, Navrangpura

This ice-cream parlour is the oldest parlour offering natural ice-cream with no preservative, the essence of artificial colours used. Doing it the old-fashioned way with cute looking paper cups and waffle cones in which they serve the ice-cream, Natural has a loyal following of customers. The Tender Coconut is one of their most selling ice-creams and a must have. Also, try Papaya-Pineapple, Jackfruit, Strawberry and Muskmelon ice-creams, which are also popular flavours.

Pabrai’s Fresh & Naturelle, Vastrapur

It looks like a small parlour but it has got a nice seating arrangement in the basement apart from some seating on the ground floor where it is situated. Pabrai’s serves dozens of very interesting flavours from Mascarpone Cheese and Candied Fruits to Rose Sandesh. Try the Pabrai’s Nolen Gur, it is made with jaggery. Other popular flavours are South Indian Coffee and Salted Caramel.
