An all-day dining on the beaches of Sinquerim is the Caravela. Anchored much like the Caraveleiro’s of yesteryears, this is dining with a difference. A walk through the Taj Holiday Village under the multitude of swaying coconut trees, the eatery welcomes one with an airy, warm embrace. With an open interactive kitchen and dining that overlooks the sea, it gives a feel of a cosmopolitan dining. A relaxed one of its kind; this is not the regular perceived ‘coffee shop in a hurry’. Splashes of colour and trendy furniture, with crafted dishes add to the overall aura. Breakfasts are wide spread buffets, lunches could be a caravela Ceasar salad or a minced tenderloin burger, while one gazes at the Fort Aguada in the distance in all its grandeur. Another sought after preparation is the char-grilled tiger prawn served with capper beurre blanc. Wind up with a walnut cream pie − a toffee and almond flavoured short crust pastry. Remember us when the smile engulfs you.
