Bang on the white sandy beaches of Morjim, stands La Plage (french for ‘beach’) with Chef Morgan Rainforth and Florence Tarbooriech behind this institution of gastronomic art. The menu is French with a tweak, showcasing Morgan’s talent to the fore. With French names that are mouthfuls to pronounce, try the terrine de foie de volaille, confiture d'oignon (chicken liver pate with onions) and the emince de calamari á la carbonara (thin slices of squid in carbonara sauce). The ambience is warm and vibrant with interesting beach style hammocks and lounging sofas around. It is a perfect way to spend a day by the beach – French Riviera style.
