Run by Gaurish and Amey Naik, these gents have taken their mother’s recipes (Vidya Naik) and created culinary magic. Focusing on old recipes and forgotten traditions, this little diner packs something unique. As one enters the restaurant, colourful Goan murals of yesteryears adorn the walls, giving it a ‘tavern relaxed feel’ putting everyone at ease. Air-conditioned seating upstairs – the large windows add to the charm of being seated in an attic and the non A/C below, choose your preference and indulge in some house favourites – The Prawn Masala Fry and the Fish Recheado. The catch is fresh. There is a great repertoire of items from the chicken cafreal to the squid batter fry to choose from. The menu plays the perfect balancing act between Continental and Indian too.
