Carbon is the bar located at the lobby level of The Park Hyderabad, a hotel in the busy Somajiguda area next to Hussain Sagar. It mainly caters to the in-house guests, though during the weekend some local customers also patronize the place. The décor is very different, with sharp-edged structures, and sofa seating aligned against the wall. The bar is quite small and due to its dark interiors and closed design gives a stuffy feeling at times. The wine and spirit list is quite extensive, with the best quality local and international liquor available here. A number of cocktails are also listed. There is a bar-top menu for short eats where the dishes are economically priced. They have many events during the weekends and a ladies night every Thursday. Service is one area where they definitely need improvement and the food takes a bit of time to arrive.
