Cayenne is located on the second floor of Mercure Hyderabad near Banjara Hills. The restaurant has a nice and open look, and you can get a clear and close view of the metro rail line and trains passing by through the frontal glass façade. The all-day dining place is known for its buffets and is often crowded during peak hours. The dessert spread is one of the highlights of these buffets. They also have an elaborate a-la-carte menu serving Telugu, pan-Indian, Asian and Western food. I especially like the local food here - 'Guntur Mirpakai Kodi' (a spicy Andhra preparation of chicken), 'Vainchina Mamsam' (a dry lamb preparation, and 'Nellore Chapala Pulusu' (a coastal fish curry) being my particular favourites. From the Western section of the menu, 'Grilled Chicken Roulade' and ''Tenderloin' are good dishes to go for. Order the 'Warm Chocolate Mud Cake' or 'Tiramisu' to end your meal. Service is adequate but tends to get a little haywire during rush hours.
