What impresses you as you enter Groove 9 restaurant in Sainikpuri is the elaborate garden seating area under the trees with lots of greenery all around. You have several bunny rabbits running around all over the campus. The place is a favoured destination for young people and is often crowded even during odd hours. In the evening, the compound is lit up very nicely adding to the ambience. If you prefer indoor seating, you can relax in the air-conditioned glasshouse. The place serves mainly international cuisine, with some Indian items thrown in. The 'Chicken Wings' here with options for Piri Piri or BBQ sauce merits attention. 'Pan Seared Prawns in Lemon Butter' and 'Grilled Fish' are some of the popular items from the main courses. The slushes and ice teas here are quite in demand, the 'Green Apple Slush' with a hint of mint was what I loved.
