INSIDER TIPS

  • Look for a place in the top level, as it provides a great view of the surrounding Banjara Hills area. In the other 2 levels, the view is obstructed
  • They have a few cabanas where you can enjoy if in a group
  • 'Chilli Chicken' is a starter worth ordering here. Reminded me of the Kolkata version of Chinese dish which I love

This is a new rooftop bar located opposite KBR Park very close to Road No 14 Banjara Hills. The name LIT stands for Lost in Thoughts. The place is remodelled from a hookah bar which used to be here earlier. Accommodating up to two hundred people, they have three levels of seating. The lowest level houses the bar and has some very comfortable sofas on one side. They serve a range of standard drinks, including a few cocktails and mocktails. “Sloshed LIT Special”, a version of Long Island Iced Tea with whisky and Jagermeister is their signature drink. The pricing of alcohol seemed to be a little high to me compared to equivalent places in the neighbourhood. The food menu has a bit of everything – Indian, Continental as well as Asian. They have even added some Mexican items like nachos to the menu. The place is still getting its act together, with a scope for improvement in both food and service.
