Ohri’s restaurant chain has quite a few theme based restaurants in Hyderabad. The décor of Gufaa which is more than two decades old is based on a cave with dark interiors dim lighting, and cane furniture. The menu is North Indian with dishes from the Mughlai, Punjabi, Rajasthani, and Hyderabadi cuisines. A few selected cocktails are available along with an extensive choice of spirits and wine. The kababs here are extremely delicious, and in the evening the place is busy with groups enjoying them with their favourite drinks. Start your meal with a 'Chooza-E-Shorba', a soup of spring chicken and vegetables. 'Bhuney Murgh ki Sholey' and 'Pakhtoon Seekh Kabab' are some of the starters which are popular with the non-vegetarians, while vegetarians love the corn-based 'Makai Seekh Kabab' and 'Pudina Paneer Tikka'. For mains, 'Khubani ka Kofta' and 'Sikandari Raan', go well with the 'Stuffed Kulchas'. Service is adequate and attentive.
