Okra, the all-day dining restaurant at The Marriott Hotel is known for its sumptuous buffets for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I like the experimentation the chefs do at the buffets, be it with sauces or dressings, with fusion recipes or using the principles of molecular gastronomy. The Sunday Brunch here is also much sought-after with a large number of live counters set up at the poolside, like 'Appam', 'Jalebi' and a good collection of street food. The colourful decor of the restaurant adds to the ambience. A short menu lists the a-la-carte items available round-the-clock. The Italian items are in demand, especially the thin crust pizzas which has traditional ones like 'Margherita' and 'Quattro Formaggi', as well as with Indian toppings such as 'Tandoori Chicken'. The Indian main courses also pack a lot of punch. 'Warm Apple Tart' and 'Tiramisu' are the recommended desserts here.
