Olive Bistro, which is part of the national chain Olive Bar & Kitchen group, is located close to Durgam Cheruvu, the scenic spot a little away from the bustling Jubilee Hills. Designed in blue and white, the restaurant has different levels of seating, both indoor and outdoor. The food served is essentially European, with a good depth in Mediterranean dishes. Operating for the last 5 years they have been able to maintain consistency in their food offerings. While the menu boasts of a good range of pizza, pasta and risotto, their grills and the dishes on the main course have always impressed me. One of these, 'Slow Braised Lamb' is a Moroccan inspired dish served with some colourful beetroot puree. Herb-infused 'Chermoula Prawn' is a delight, especially for seafood lovers. For vegetarians, 'BBQ Cauliflower and Leek Flatbread' and 'Three Cheese Pizza' are good dishes to try out.
