If there was something called a Chinese dhaba, Flavours of China would probably top the list, not just for its popularity and the crowd but also for its typical Kolkata Chinese food being preferred by one and all. It is one of the most favoured Chinese places to eat out in Park Street. Whether it is a group of friends or a team get together or a kitty party or a large family meeting; they are on the top 2 – 3 recall list of restaurants in the area. The place is large but is quite cramped up with a number of tables which are mostly filled up. The food menu is very extensive, however regulars go with dishes such as lat me kai, golden fried prawns, mushroom pepper salt, prawns pepper salt and the various sui mais. From the staples kitchen, the burnt ginger capsicum fried rice and chilli garlic noodles are highly recommended. All in all, the food is more than satisfactory and one always leaves the place happy.
