This is one of those inconspicuous, neighbourhood restaurants that turn out quality food. There is nothing remarkable about this place as far as appearances go, but the decidedly laidback atmosphere is quite conducive to a leisurely meal. Do not expect an adventurous spread or authentic flavours – the menu more or less sticks to the tried and tested routine (the typical mix of Schezwan and Cantonese style food the city loves), but the food scores both in taste and quantity. The green fried rice, a house specialty, and the shredded lamb, come especially recommended. There is duck on the menu – the special chilli duck is quite a treat.
