The restaurant belongs to the same group that owns the more popular Red Hot Chilli Pepper. The 120-seater opened its doors in 2004 (they have recently opened a swankier branch in Camac Street) with a menu comprising familiar Chinese (mostly schezwan and Cantonese style) and North Indian numbers. The dining section has an open interactive kitchen and live grill and barbeque stations. A separate lounge area (done in black and red, complete with a bar, a dance floor and an in-house DJ) is a good place to grab a few drinks before dinner. Try the shredded lamb in hot garlic sauce and the butter chilli garlic prawns. The Lat Mai Kai comes especially recommended.
