Bengal’s swanky watering hole, modelled on a railway junction, complete with mock-up locomotives and old railway maps framed on the walls, is easily the classiest drinking destination in town (and one of the best-stocked bars as well). Done predominantly in wood with dark leather upholstery and plush carpets (very British), it is a gorgeous setting steeped in retro charm. The Asian-inspired menu stresses on finger food – a mix of Asian wokkerie, grills and crumb-fried delights – with fantastic options for vegetarians. If you are looking for something more filling, try their ramen in a broth of your choice. However, it is their selection of the finest tipple culled from around the world that makes The Junction stand out. In fact, it is one of the best whisky bars in the country, with a massive selection of premiums malts and rare whiskeys.
