It is a charming 48-cover restaurant (they started out with 32 seats but expanded later) with red brick walls adorned with framed posters of Hollywood classics and white windows, in a quite lane near the Lakes. This is the second outlet of The Steak Factory, the first, smaller outlet, is in New Alipore. The menu emphasises on steaks (tenderloin, rib eye, sirloin, ham, chicken and fish) but there is more – salads, pasta and pizzas, bakes and grills, etc. even so, it is a steak house after all and their bestsellers are their steaks. The tenderloin steak served with a peppery mushroom sauce is a perennial favourite. Or, try the factory special cheese steak (grilled tenderloin steak baked with a slab of cheese). If you are not in the mood for steaks, you could opt for the prosciutto stuffed chicken that comes with a velvety mushroom sauce or the classic chicken cordon bleu with its layers of chicken, ham and cheese.
