Over the last few years, if dining-out options have increased in Chandigarh, then Mohali has not been too far behind either. While standalone restaurants are increasing, restaurants housed in hotels are also revamping menus and offering a slice of the world on a platter. Spice Route in the Glades Hotel offers a multi-cuisine spread. The restaurant has modern interiors and even though it is not a really huge space, it is airy and bright. The menu hop-scotches across the world and brings in everything from Continental, Oriental and Indian fare. There is the buffet option as well including a robust selection for breakfast. The ‘Pasta Arrabiata’ we ordered was spot on with its flavours. So was the chef’s speciality ‘Chicken Nazakat’ that packed in keema and egg in chicken tikka. Another chef’s speciality is the Parsi mutton dish – 'Salli Boti'. Kebabs and curries are definitely the highlights of the menu here. The service could be quicker but overall a good dining option in Mohali.
