An elegant and chic wine room and bar with tasteful décor await you behind the simple entrance. The place is linear but spacious and offers 3 distinct seating areas. The bar menu is understandably exhaustive, while the food menu, although limited, offers enough variety in modern European cuisine with a few Australian favourites. "Chef Sahil Arora" emphasises the use of ingredients which are sourced locally and even uses some grown in his kitchen. The 'Twist In The Polenta' with distinct South Indian flavours is inventive and enhances the flavour quotient. For mains, do not miss the 'Stew Of The Day' - couscous with a medley of vegetables and chicken. It is rustic, yet deeply satisfying and flavourful. The 'Creamy Gnocchi Gorgonzola' for once pales in comparison. There are wines to pair with the food and a vast array to choose from. The 'Dark Chocolate Mousse With Strawberries' is a must-have to round off your meal. The portions here are hearty and value-for-money. The staff is well-trained and articulate. The service alert but unobtrusive.
