It is easy to miss this restaurant given the crowds outside the Matunga Central Station. It is distinguished by a small air-conditioned section on the first floor which is rare for the South Indian restaurants in Matunga and offers a welcome relief in the heat. The soft fluffy idlis here are pretty heart-warming and they have some interesting variations in idlis such as the coin butter idli and the Brahmani idli. The paniyaram (which is like a little vada) is an interesting dish to try.
