Goa’s popular restaurant opens in Mumbai and is strongly reminiscent of a Portuguese villa, with the characteristic décor and vibe. The blue-and-white azulejo tiles flanking the al fresco bar, complete the picture. The menu pays a tribute to the dishes, flavours, ingredients and spirit of Goa. 'Chef Lloyd Braganza' brings to diners, the home-flavours of Goa with his own family recipes. He has also included dishes, he grew up enjoying – 'Barbecued Meats', 'Seafood' and 'European 'Classics'. The bar menu is varied and carefully crafted. So, expect a well-made 'Prawns Caldeen' and 'Mutton Xacuti' alongside his signature 'Pork Chops With BBQ Sauce'. Vegetarians, although with limited options, can savour the 'Pineapple Sasso' and 'Cashew Nut Mushroom Xacuti'. The 'Anant Gadho’s Ros Omelette' served in a poi with dried xacuti curry is an absolute palate-pleaser and transports you to Goa immediately. The food here is rustic, home-style and spot-on in terms of spices and flavours. Carnivores must not miss gorging on the 'Sausage Chilli Fry' and 'Pork Roast' for starters and 'Pork Vindaloo' for mains with 'Goan Boiled Rice' or even 'Sannas'. The 'Serradura' and 'Layered Bread Pudding' are strongly recommended among desserts. The service staff is warm and helpful, but expect to enjoy a sussegado meal here.
