A tiny eatery in Bandra years ago, has resurfaced in a new posh avatar in a plush mall. The décor is quirky, a bit trite, but classy nevertheless. The seating is comfortable and well-spaced out. The menu offers the usual Parsi favourites, but many with their own characteristic twist. The bar menu offerings too, are varied. The 'Chutney Pattice' and 'Chicken Cutlets' here, are not-to-be-missed. Both robust, the flavours are spot on, albeit a bit heavy. The 'Chicken Farcha', a quintessential Parsi dish, is equally popular. There are a fair amount of vegetarian options too. For mains, do not miss the comforting and flavourful, 'Masala Dal'. The 'Kolmi No Patio', 'Chicken Pulao' and 'Patra Ni Macchi', are other must-try items. The tangy and sweet, but uncomplicated flavours synonymous with this cuisine, are evident in each bite and the good quality ingredients, shine. The food is well-presented, although the portion sizes are a bit meagre, given the prices of the dishes here. The 'Sev with Meethu Dahi' is refreshing and a delight for the taste buds, but of course, as always, the creamy 'Lagan Nu Custard', emerges as the winner. The staff is well-trained, polite and the service efficient.
