Kalmane Koffees stands out in a city full of coffee shops. They don't offer free wi-fi but they are possibly one of the few modern coffee shops in Mumbai dedicated to South Indian filter coffee. The Phoenix City Mall branch of the Bangalore based coffee shop is their first in Mumbai. They have a range of filter coffees, of varying intensity, on offer from their coffee estates in Chikmagalur in Karnataka. They have a few tables where you can sit and enjoy your coffee undisturbed. The aroma of coffee that wafts out every time they brew one is very heady. They serve cappuccinos too if you insist on one. But then why would you?
