The Ark Bar now rechristened as Khyma, is not really any different. An extension of the all-day dining place, Jeon, one does not realise that the bar is a separate outlet, till you see the long bar counter. A bit staid, the décor of this place needs to be revved up. The L-shaped seating area offers ample space. The bartenders are well-trained and adroitly mix drinks. They are happy to suggest and customise cocktails as per the guest’s preferences. The menu boasts of a lot of variety in cocktails, almost with every spirit. Fine whiskies and wines are a part of the menu too. Although it opens at noon, it is only by evening that this bar comes alive as the regular clientele frequents this place. The food menu is the same as Jeon, so one can be sure to sample some good food if one is hungry. Fresh bekti and crab cakes and balsamic mushroom stuffed with herb goat cheese pair well with the drinks. Single malts and beers are fast-moving as is the signature Sea Princess cocktail.
