The name suggests it is an Italian restaurant, which it is, but there are ample Mexican dishes on the menu too. The basic décor and staid setting do not deter families from dining here. The menu is all vegetarian, but an exhaustive one nonetheless. Soups, salads, pizza, pasta, is what you can expect as part of the Italian offerings. Quesadillas, munchies, salads and meals, comprise the Mexican section. An amalgamation of the finest ingredients does not necessarily mean great flavours. That is exactly the case with the food here. The portions are substantial, yet the food makes a hole in your wallet. Manali, the pizza which boasts of a generous amount of toppings, is low on flavour quotient. Masala Mafia, the spicy pasta, is worth a try. The savoury pancake crespelle, stuffed with cheese and mushrooms in a béchamel sauce is unique. The Bolognese with soya mince short-changes you on flavours and texture. Given that the entire menu is vegetarian, the options are incredible and the innovation, laudable. The Tiramisu lives up to expectations. The service staff is attentive and helpful, although not articulate.
