This is a legend of the Mumbai restaurant scene. It is one of the earliest Marathi vegetarian places around and is always packed. It is a favourite with locals as well as with people coming into Dadar, which is a fairly central commercial hub of Mumbai. Regulars swear by the missal and piyush here. The missal is a lot less oily and spicy than what is available elsewhere. You can try the thali at lunch time.
