A tribute to Mumbai’s Irani cafés, this place is replete with quirky décor elements strongly reminiscent of Parsi homes, albeit a bit overstated. The square tables with checked tablecloths are unmistakably Irani-esque. The jukebox in one corner belts out music to add to the playful atmosphere. The menu is a combination of Irani café and Parsi home-style food and at the same time refreshingly inventive. A lot of the dishes here take you down memory lane. 'Chicken Farcha', 'Bhendi Bazar Seekh Paratha' and 'Parsi Mutton Masala Roast', are bound to delight the carnivores. The 'Eggs Kejriwal' here disappoints. The Parsi style 'Badami Potato' is outstanding and a treat for the vegetarians. This restaurant offers Mumbaikars a slice of Parsi life and culture through its innovative food and beverage offerings. Service is warm but a bit slow.
