This seafood restaurant and bar is popular with families and corporates alike. The décor is simple and staid, but the ambience is relaxed. The buffets here for lunch and dinner, are the key attraction. There is an exhaustive a la carte menu too, apart from a bar menu. Seafood is the raison d’etre for people to visit his place, yet, there is North Indian and Chinese food on the menu too. The buffet spread is lavish, but the fare is run-of-the-mill, save a few seafood dishes - squids, fish, prawns, which are of a good quality. The a la carte offerings include seafood, chicken, mutton for carnivores and some vegetarian dishes too. But clearly, this place is meant for non-vegetarians. The tuna fish salad is well-made and hearty. The 'Mongolian seafood Soup' is a good bet. The 'Surmai Tawa Fry', 'Prawns Malwani Sukke', 'Karaikhodi Fish', stand out among starters. For mains, try the 'Prawns Gassi' or 'Squid Masala with Appams'. The staff here is inattentive, slow and the food takes forever to arrive Ask for regular packaged water instead of the fancy mineral water bottle placed on your table. The buffets here are value-for-money.
