This undeniably urban restaurant with two distinct seating areas-a foyer for lunch and a formal area for dinner, is an exercise in minimalism. The vibe is bright and airy. Chef Nitin Kulkarni’s menu, straddles contemporary global food with his own distinctive Eastern spin. The bar menu is equally impressive. The 'Chicken and Asian Vegetable Broth', is a treat for the taste buds. With umami flavours and a melange of crunchy vegetables, one is off to a good start. The 'Soft Shell Crispy Fish Tacos', although well-executed, are comparatively low on flavours. The 'Salt Baked Celeriac' wrapped in a leek and scallion fondue, takes the palate by surprise. A plethora of salad options for every palate are on offer as part of the small plates. Vegetarians will relish the 'Truffle Cauliflower Gratin' with intense flavours. For mains, the 'Drunken Rock Cod' is worth trying. There is obviously a heavy dollop of imagination and originality in the food and that is what sets it apart. The grand finale to my meal was the 'Honey Flan', where the silky flan, was smattered with crushed granola, for a textural counterpoint. An absolute must-have. The service here is exemplary. The new additions to the menu are a must try
