This East village style, trendy and cosy restaurant, offers salads, soups, small plates, burgers, flatbreads and more. As the name suggests, flavoured tonics - fruity floral, herb-infused, paired with varieties of gin, are the focus of the bar menu, but the creative energy in the food too is evident from the unique offerings. Indigenous produce is what is used extensively. Vegetarians can opt for the 'Vegetable Kibbeh', whereas carnivores can tuck into the 'Poached Kokum Shrimp', which adds zest to the palate. The hearty 'Baby Back Ribs' are a must-try. The 'Five Mushroom and Buratta Flatbread' is satiating. The 'Lobster Risotto' made with Gobindobhog rice is inventive and offers a medley of textures and flavours. The creamy and smooth, 'Gnocchi Calabrese', is a decent option as well. The food is artfully presented as expected. Among desserts, 'Expression of Jaggery' with diverse elements on a single plate, is unique. The service staff is courteous and helpful and offers an alert service.

Toast & Tonic has been around in BKC for a while now and we recently got a chance to dine here on a lazy Sunday afternoon; a gastronomical and visual affair it turned out to be! Located in the Jet Airways Godrej building which houses few more restaurants, this place is hard to miss with its high ceiling glass entrance covered with posters of food & drinks. As you walk in you can’t help but notice the Awards received proudly displayed at the entrance wall along with plants in the entry passage with blooming flowers and replicas of animals (Mostly livestock) at corners to walls adorned with botanical paintings - A balance of elements and designs to give it the chic & classy look! Cuisine here is European & Continental along with some innovative tonic water infused beverages (Cocktail & Mocktail inclusive) to some drool worthy desserts! We started off with some tonic infused beverages (Visited on a Dry day and had to forfeit the Cocktails) - Granada Tonic : Tonic water infused with cinnamon & pomegranate juice topped with pomegranate seeds; the bitterness of tonic offset by the added ingredients. Loved this one! - Refresher Tonic : Mint flavored tonic water topped with mint leaves and lemongrass, just as the name suggests each sip will give you a refreshing effect! Appetizers came with a flair! - Grilled Harissa Spiced Chicken : Harissa spiked on the higher side to hit the right notes, pieces of well marinated chicken drizzled with greens (Fennel & Coriander) with a hint of mint sauce. - Soft Eggs on Sourdough Toast : Loved the presentation here; Sourdough bread (A whole toast) topped with sliced egg white with the yellow oozing out, added toppings of Andouille sausages & Chicken with a spread of cheese & mustard gave this a perfect taste. Do call for it! Our Mains arrived equally impressive! - Lamb & Mushroom Curry : Malaysian specialty came with a bowl of coconut infused brown gravy with a generous dose of succulent mutton pieces paired with buttered rice; perfectly blended with each other. A must try! - Gochujang Chicken : A whole chicken breast well marinated and topped with salsa sauce along with healthy veggies like broccoli, zucchini, mushroom & kale with a side of cilantro paste. I generally refer to this as a power meal owing to the healthy ingredients in such dishes; but the T&T version was even more delectable. Recommended! Desserts were simply a treat to our eyes & palates! - T&T Tres Leches : Beautifully presented in a large bowl this Vanilla Chiffon flavored sponge cake came soaked in Jaggery on a bed of Tapioca pudding. Not much on a sweeter side but a healthy option considering the use of jaggery! - Black Sesame Mousse : Aesthetic design and will take you a while to understand the intricacy of this creation! Caramelized white chocolates (Small pops) along with Cranberry Sorbet and 3 coin sized portion of Black sesame mousse. It is true when they say You taste your food with your Eyes first and T&T does entice your with their top notch presentation skills! T&T gets my vote as their food is impeccable, knowledgeable & courteous staff, good vibe ambiance and flawless English Retro numbers they kept playing the entire time I was dining here!
Toast and tonic is a dine and bar located at BKC. It's quite spacious and the interiors attract you as soon as you enter! The whole place is decorated very creativly as well as beautifully. There is an open bar and a small bar cart as well where the drinks are made live. Our table was well assisted by Mr. Abhinand the whole time. So coming to the food I tried the follows- • Korean Fried chicken- 5/5. Since I love Korean dishes I really wanted to try it from a long time. Finally tried this for the first time here and must say it was absolutely delicious. #Recommended • Salt baked pork belly- 4.5/5 Really really very well cooked I must day. The pork belly was soft at the same time juicy. • Soft egg with chicken sausage on sourdough toast- 5/5. Extra points for the presentation! The eggs were poached and really soft the chicken sausage was extremely yum and the toast was an amazing combo with it. • Spaghetti with bacon- 5/5. This was surprisingly very tasty. And tasted great with bacon • Coffee dessert- A very unique dessert made of filter coffee cremuex and millet coffee cake topped with coffee cardamom ice cream. Every dish that I ordered had really good taste as well as quantity. OOverall I feel it's a great place to dine and try the amazing food and tonics here! Thanks team!
Toast And Tonic In the heart of BKC beside BKC ONE we have one joint Toast and Tonic which will rejuvenate you after a long tiring day at office or chill with your friends and family on the weekends. You will be greeted by the European themed deco and a bar you be willing to get down from. For cocktails I started Uncle Jim which is based from Jack Daniels. I had slow smoked BBQ pork ribs and Naga chilly chicken wings with it. The pork was so beautifully barbecued that it will melt in your mouth instantly. Just the right amount of tangy sauce. The Chilly Chicken wasn't too was a mix of tangy and mild spicy. For main course I had Spaghetti Cacio which was white sauce based and won't make you feel too full. Leaving enough room for desserts. I had hazelnut chocolate bar and salted caramel icecream with Diablo a gin based cocktail for desserts The hazelnut chocolate is triple layed with whipped cream at the top a chocolate cake in between over a hazelnut bar. I tried a salted icecream for the first time. I think ice creams should only tase sweet and salty ice cream will be liked only by few. The only savior were the caramel chunks in the ice cream. All in all a great experience at Toast and Tonic. I will definitely be visiting this place soon you do too.
