One of the oldest luxury establishments in town that is still around and flourishing, this eatery has a well-stocked bar – full of interesting wines, single malts and whiskeys for the connoisseurs, as well as some super interesting signature fusion cocktails – including the fiery rasam Mary, another unusual combination of vodka, orange juice and almond syrup, and even a soothing martini of gin, vermouth and chamomile tea. To go with this excellent tipple, the light bites or appetizers include gorgeous Scottish smoked salmon, German sausages, lemon and yogurt spiced chicken, Thai style chicken-scallion satay, cinnamon-saffron chicken, crunchy potato wedges with sour cream, konjee crispy lamb, paprika and herb-marinated fish kababs, and more. The jalapeno-cottage cheese frankie or tangy lamb frankie are meals in themselves, and the pizzas are also sumptuous – the tandoori chicken one employs a sprinkle of crunchy onions, the gamberoni with prawns and peppers is truly fragrant, and the verde combining broccoli, asparagus, spinach, bok choy and basil is like a party in the mouth.
