This is the place you land up to when you are bored with the usual pastas and pizzas in town. The vibe of the restaurant is really nice and it feels quite sublime to dine here. You will be inspired to greet the menu that has so many fresh ingredients and a rather unconventional take on European food as we have been experiencing it. Apart from outstanding Italian food, they even serve some really amazing European large plates which have gone through a lot of research and multiple tastings. Interestingly, they have a varied choice of Spanish and Italian style Tapas which are very inspiring to see on the menu and surely a delight to eat. We love these ‘Thyme and Oregano Fritters’ which are totally different and something you would not find anywhere in the city. Apart from Gourmet sandwiches and Pizzas, the mains which include ‘Grilled Chicken with Rosemary’ or the ‘Slow Cooked Pork Belly’ are all very creatively paired with orange jus and apple cinnamon sauce respectively. The food arrives quite on time and the service is really warm and friendly. So much that they will keep you comfortable with some extra toasts and butter on the table, while the food arrives. The dessert menu is equally special as the food, they call it Plated Desserts selection and sure they are all very nicely plated, but do not expect way too fancy or a star hotel treatment to the desserts. Nonetheless, we love the ‘Eight Layer Chocolate Cake’, very much inspired from the Classic Opera, only that this has no sign of coffee but loaded with Salty Caramel instead. Perhaps, get a ‘Banana and Nutella Crepe’ with roasted almonds instead, if not a chocolate fan. It is a right balance of nuts and fruits, with some Nutella on top. Service is warm and the food arrives quickly so they very much keep the definition of a bistro alive.
