This is the place you land up to when you are bored with the usual pastas and pizzas in town. The vibe of the restaurant is really nice and it feels quite sublime to dine here. You will be inspired to greet the menu that has so many fresh ingredients and a rather unconventional take on European food as we have been experiencing it. Apart from outstanding Italian food, they even serve some really amazing European large plates which have gone through a lot of research and multiple tastings. Interestingly, they have a varied choice of Spanish and Italian style Tapas which are very inspiring to see on the menu and surely a delight to eat. We love these ‘Thyme and Oregano Fritters’ which are totally different and something you would not find anywhere in the city. Apart from Gourmet sandwiches and Pizzas, the mains which include ‘Grilled Chicken with Rosemary’ or the ‘Slow Cooked Pork Belly’ are all very creatively paired with orange jus and apple cinnamon sauce respectively. The food arrives quite on time and the service is really warm and friendly. So much that they will keep you comfortable with some extra toasts and butter on the table, while the food arrives. The dessert menu is equally special as the food, they call it Plated Desserts selection and sure they are all very nicely plated, but do not expect way too fancy or a star hotel treatment to the desserts. Nonetheless, we love the ‘Eight Layer Chocolate Cake’, very much inspired from the Classic Opera, only that this has no sign of coffee but loaded with Salty Caramel instead. Perhaps, get a ‘Banana and Nutella Crepe’ with roasted almonds instead, if not a chocolate fan. It is a right balance of nuts and fruits, with some Nutella on top. Service is warm and the food arrives quickly so they very much keep the definition of a bistro alive.
good european food with nice atmosphere.Had pasta and others pizza and burger. very good. Service good!
Must visit for European and Italian food lovers. Krustys at Kharadi. The staff is friendly and cook knows his job. Prices are slightly on higher side. But taste compensates for it. A place to hang out with family and friends.
Excellent food and service. Chef was friendly and prepared vegan dishes specially for my friend. A gem of a place.
This is the 2nd or 3rd time I have visited them and they continue to hold their standards of good food. They have moved from KP to Kharadi (in world trade center). We had a salad, a black olive pizza and a risotto. The salad and risotto was excellent . I did not enjoy the black olive pizza much as there was very little of anything else . I thought I should have gone for the traditional veggie supreme . tried a new beer- while my husband enjoyed it , I did not like it much .
Our second visit.. We waited for this day since January!! Everything is just too good. We took all the 'Food for the day' stuff. The tomato soup was perfect, smoked chicken soup with corn was nice and comforting. Seared chicken on sugarcane sticks was mind blowing... Gnocchi in shallot sauce was a real winner. In the main course, we took Shepherd's pie and stuffed and seared chicken. Large servings and very very tasty.. The desserts were the star of the day. Saffron pannacotta with rabdi coulis was an instant hit with everyone. The macaroons were classic. The red velvet cake was not too sweet, and so so nice... Food: really superb. These people are Times Food Guide Award winners, especially with their desserts Ambience: perfect for a family outing. But there were couples and friends also comfortably during around.. Cost: 1500 for a dinner for two on an average with appetizers, desserts and soups plus main course. Value for money: 9/10!!! I just love this place! Keep it up.
