The Cliff makes you feel like you are on cloud nine – quite literally if you visit during the monsoons. Perched on the edge of a hilltop, overlooking the pristine Manas Lake, this deck area has comfy leather couches. There is a gentle breeze, a woody scent in the air, and incredible peace and quiet – broken only by the chirping of birds. This is the ideal destination to watch the sunset and nibble on some snacks. Choose from a host of kababs and regular Chinese starters such as fried dumplings and dragon rolls. At night, the ambience becomes dimly lit and romantic, and you could then enjoy a simple dinner of gravy-roti, some prawns in hot green sauce with chicken pot rice, a plate of classic chips (crispy fries topped with squeaky cheese curds, cheddar, grilled diced chicken and creamy béchamel sauce) or then a hot sizzler.
