Styling itself as a pub-lounge-brewery of sorts, this venue is spread over a large area and offers a bunch of its own beers. The food menu complements this – varied chicken and shrimp and/or cheese-potato-mushroom starters mingle with nachos and kababs. Besides a basic Indian menu, the place doffs a hat at Irish culinary tradition. From a boxty (potato patty) burger to an Irish meat feast pizza (loaded with mince, bacon and salami), a whiskey flambéed chicken soup, a stew with soda bread, bangers and mash and a ubiquitous colcannon potatoes side, the restaurant tries to live up to its moniker. This eatery also serves the unique manakesh, an Arabic style of bread baked with herbs and varied toppings. Choices include a plain zaatar (thyme, oregano, sesame seeds and sumac), one with cheese and herbs, and one with lamb mince added on.
