This is the only restaurant in Pune that serves the elusive Goan-Portuguese dessert Serradura, a simple layered pudding that combines oodles of whipped cream, condensed milk and crumbly swirls of finely crushed tea biscuits, topped with a sprinkle of biscuit powder. Likewise, they also offer several other Goan delicacies, from the fiery chicken piri piri shashlik and peppery fish cafreal to tangy prawn balchao
For those who want to skip the red meats, there is a wide array of scrumptious chicken, seafood and vegetarian sizzlers – we would recommend the plat grimaldi (which is a paneer-mushroom-vegetable cutlet combo), the fish in peanut sauce, mandarin prawns and the chicken mixed grill
It would not be blasphemous to eat something other than a sizzler here, for their steaks (the veal escalope is the crispiest you will ever have), prawn curry rice and even the Indian fare are top-notch

Nothing about the unassuming wooden door and the quaintly designed nameplate ushering you in suggests that you are about to enter the doyen of sizzler restaurants. An iconic establishment, Touche’s founder invented the concept of sizzlers in Mumbai in the ’60s and introduced Puneites to it a decade later. It is no wonder, then, that everything about the place – right from the stone walls and wooden roof to the lip-smacking food – oozes old-world charm. Dig into an old-school meal that starts with some crunchy garlic mushroom and shrimp cocktail, and proceed to a special mixed grill sizzler featuring a smorgasbord of meats, including fat chunks of steak, succulent pork chops, juicy slices of ham, sausages and chicken drumsticks with fat fries, herb rice and grilled veggies providing stellar accompaniment – delectable to the last bite.
