Entering this vibrant bistro is a lot like space-time travel. From one of the oldest, quaintest streets in Pune, you are transported straight to a bustling, contemporary one in London. Do not be taken aback by the double-decker red bus that greets you at the door; just board it and order a glass of their wickedly tangy-spicy aam panna caprioska that will make you feel right at home. Alternatively, take a swig of their Bombay mojito, which is basically street chaat in liquid form. The upstairs section is a Moroccan-themed terrace-balcony that offers lounge seating flooded with natural light. Here, you can dig into a plate of some delightfully messy poutine or sink your teeth into their hilariously named Laloo and the Queen pizza which comes topped with creamy butter chicken on one half and fish in Mornay sauce on the other – a strangely seamless culinary fusion.
#11eaststreetcafe is located on MG road near Kwality. The place is based on the London street theme. It's beautifully done up and gives u a feel of sitting & eating food on a London street. The drinks are ok and food is awesome. The mojito I ordered was a bit too tangy. They have happy hours from 3-5 pm and after 11 pm. The place is a must go if u r in Pune Overall ratings Drinks 3/5 Food 5/5 Staff 5/5 Ambience 5/5 Music 4.5/5
This restaurant has tried to mimick the charm of the city of London in its interiors. The food was good. The portions were a bit small. Overall this is a great place to hangout with your friends/loved one.
Anyone who has ever been on east street will know of this place, thanks to the gorgeous red double decker bus at its entrance. And its interiors are equally charming and cutely done up. The food is good though inconsistent . This place is worth visiting, more for the style and ambience, rather than the food.
The moment you enter the place, a huge old Bombay double-decker bus greets you. So the theme, including the double decker bus at the entrance, and the London references inside, were nice touches to see. Really wide menu, so something for everyone. We had the black bean risotto with crispy vegetables and the chicken tikka penne. Both dishes had loads of flavour, and good portion sizes. We also went with flatbread pizzas which were good. The overall restaurant cleanliness needs some work and the bathrooms were located down a dingy hall. However the overall eating experience is fine. Must go for every person who is interested in having a continental experience mixed with a blend of Indian aroma. No washroom Available
We visited during lunch time during weekend. Ambiance is simple and with iconic Red bus at the entrance. Schezwan chicken and pasta were well prepared. I fogot the name of mocktail that was also good.
