This is the second outlet of Birmies. The first one is on Panjrapol Cross Roads and it is quite small but this one of Sindhu Bhavan Road is spacious with indoor and outdoor seating and it has been done up well. Located on such a street where new corporate and office buildings are coming up, is it strategically placed. Birmies has been named after the owner’s daughter. It is a vegetarian restaurant and it serves tasty North Indian and Chinese dishes which are presented in style. The staff is neat and well dressed but they do need to be more attuned to customer needs so they require some training. The outdoor space has nicely lined up palms on the one side which is open. A tall wall covers the front and the indoor restaurant is on the left side of the open space. Both the indoor and outdoor seatings have their own attraction. The menu here has a page full of paranthas of various types from the common 'Aloo Parantha' to 'Gobi, Paneer and Cheese Parantha'. You can also have combo meals of Parantha with Subzi. You will get authentic North Indian Paranthas here. There is an assortment of vegetables made in Chinese style so try the 'Gobi Manchurian' or 'Schezwan Vegetables' or 'Paneer Chilli Dry'. The Paneer here is soft and very fresh. If you are looking for a snack, try the 'Jumbo Sandwiches'.
