Dhoom Dhaam is a restaurant which serves Indian comfort food with a modern take on it. It has been started by the very successful chain of twin restaurants Mirch Masala and Tomatoes. The restaurant is done up in a mixture of modern and retro style with pestles and mortar of all shapes, sizes and designs decorating partitioned shelves which form a barrier between the main restaurant and the lounge area. The walls are decorated with pots and pans and the colours used are olive, beige and gold. The food is what one needs to talk about here. You should try the 'Curried Coconut Soup' and if you are a non-vegetarian, you could have the 'Curried Coconut Prawn Soup'. Try the 'Paniyaram', it is South Indian rice dumplings with a tomato chutney or you can go for the very 'North Indian Dhoom Dham Raj Kachori'. There are some very interesting sounding starters in the non-vegetarian section like Dhun Bai Ka Kheema Cutlet - 'Gareby', 'Rustom’s Egg' and 'Hindustani Tacos' with 'Chicken Vindaloo' and 'Komli Patio flavours'. The quirky names continue in the main course. The vegetarian main course includes 'Palak Fada Kichdi Kadhi', 'Batata Bhaji', 'Amti and Srikhand' and 'Titori Khakara'. Non-vegetarians get to choose from stuff like 'Andhara Egg Pulusu', 'Railway Mutton Curry' and 'Meen PolliChathu'.
