Poetry has been operating for over 10 months and it draws a large crowd for dinner, especially on weekends. Located off Sindhu Bhawan Road, Poetry is a classy place with done up in dark colours. The ceiling is painted black with star lights hanging giving it a feel of a starry night in the night. One of the walls has embossed designs painted grey and another wall has blue, black and white tiles mounted in a pleasing design. The chair upholstery is dark blue and the sofas along the walls have red upholstery. So, all in all, it gives a stylish look to the place. They have wooden lattice and also with metal frames with small indoor plants in colourful pots which act as partitions. Poetry serves vegetarian food which is presented beautifully in plates of different shapes and sizes meant specifically for each dish. They also have outdoor seating and live music each night which is a huge attraction. For starters, they have an interesting dish called 'Palate Pleaser' which is served on a Ferris wheel-like structure. It has a papad cone with noodles and vegetables inside it. You could also try the 'Crispy Roesti Chaat', which has a crisp bhajiya base with sev, salsa and onion toppings or try the 'Masala Trianguli', which is stuffed ravioli. Do tell the staff while ordering to keep the salt low as the chef tends to overdo the salt. For the main course, I tried the 'Chimichurri Cottage Cheese' which was lovely except for the high salt content. It is served with rice which is lightly flavoured with spinach and spring onions.
