This popular café is the in place for the youth of the city. On the weekends this cafe is lined up with young men and women waiting to get inside the café with waiting stretching for as much as an hour. In fact, it is crowded on most other days also. The café has nice coupe seating arrangements on one side and there is also an enclosure with low seating arrangement for a small group close to the entrance. One whole wall has Cafe Baraco displayed on the wall. It has an open kitchen and good wooden furniture. The place has mobile chargers on all its tables. It is a vegetarian eatery and it also serves Jain food. Start with a 'French Kiss' - Cranberry and grape juice with Bubblegum syrup. If you are not into that flavour, there are many other beverages to choose from. 'Malfatti-Spinach' and 'Cheese Balls in Pesto Sauce' is a great starter here. Other dishes which are great choices are 'Ravioli Provenzale' and 'Baraco Baked Puff Au Gratin Pasta' which the café says is a must-try and you have a whole lot of wood-fired pizzas to choose from.
Baracco Sizzler One of the prominent cafes in Ahmedabad, Baracco is out with a dedicated Sizzler joint. Located just above the cafe, the interiors are pretty basic and give a rusty feel to the place. On the food front we tried a variety of dishes : Mexican De bean Celentro soup : Served in bread bowl, the soup was tangy and spicy. 4/5 Thai Leek Celentro : Also served in bread bowl, this one had a thick base and surely a delight for thai food Lovers. 4/5 Crispy Veg in Chilly corriander sauce : A unique dish, went really well with the Soups. The gravy was really tasty and gave a unique taste to the dish. 4/5 Sunehra Mushroo : Marinated mushrooms served with tangy sauce. 3.5/5 Cheese Chilli kebab : As the name suggests, kebabs with plenty of cheese. Something a cheese lover would crave for. 4/5 Focaccia Sandwich : A speciality of this place, never disappoints. The Breads are freshly baked inhouse and give a great taste to the dish. A must try here. 5/5 Mocktails & Shakes: We tried a variety of mocktails and shakes with majority of them pretty well made. Personal favourite being Kitkat and Orange lime relaxer. Baracco Special Sizzler : Indian version of Sizzler with Spinach rice and Indian gravies. There was a perfect blend in both gravies and went well with the rice. 4/5 Mexican Sizzler in Barbeque sauce : Decent in taste, not what you expect from an Mexican Sizzler. This one had excessive veggies and lacked basic stuffing. 2.5/5 Veg Lahori with Missi Roti : Tangy gravy served with authentic Missi Roti. A perfect winter meal. 4/5 Choco Apple Tart : One of the best combination of apple pie and chocolate. This one left its taste for a while. This one could have been more enjoyed had it been a bit warm. 4.5/5 Red velvet pastry : This one just gave a perfect end to the gastronomical journey. While we were completely stuffed, no one could leave without finishing this one. Surely worth a try here. 4/5 With a wide range of menu, the place caters to audience from all categories and serves well as a cafe as well as a family restaurant.
Expected more from cafe considering high rating and Hotel Marriott.. I was not delighted.. Food authentic and sumptuous BUT menu small.. Service Great but nothing extraordinary.. Time taken for delivery is big.. Ambience good expected bit better. Presentation satisfactory. Chef met us personally as well.. All said and done, little bit more needed to make visit Value for money 👍
Well I visited Ahmedabad again and this cafe and the food is still great and prompt service. Staff are good and the cafe is well maintained. Try fired pasta its really good and something new.
Very good food and very wide variety of options. Service is also fast. Always packed place. Must visit.
This is a cafe with a very urban college kind of feel to it. We tried the virgin mojito & safe sex on the beach along with pasta arrabiata & pizza verdure. The mocktails tasted great & one could tell that these have been prepared by a seasoned bartender. However food highly average. Pizza was dripping of oil! Strange! We had especially instructed for the chill flakes not be added in the pasta, however it was there. When we asked for the replacement, the server reluctantly agreed. But the replacement pasta he got was overcooked. It was the same pasta tossed in the pan with some plain tomato sauce, may be. I could tell this because the pasta he served firstly, was 'al dente' and the second one was over cooked. All in all, the food was average & the drinks were superb!
