Styled as a sports bar, with screens, pool table and games set up, 55 Wall Street is spread across two floors, occupies the second and third floors of a building that houses other resto pubs and eateries. 'Hookah' is available on their second floor, while dancing and music are on the first. They have Fosters and Kingfisher on tap, which can be ordered by the pint, pitcher or tube, and a list of bottled beers. The cocktails extend over a few pages of the menu and one can find all the classics like a 'Long Island Iced Tea', 'Martini, Daiquiri', 'Cosmopolitan', 'Margarita' or 'Caprioska', as well as twists like the 'Bourbon LIT', 'Beam Me Up' with Smirnoff Espresso and butterscotch, and a rum and brandy concoction named 'Crash & Burn'. Beer cocktails too find a place on this menu, alongside the ubiquitous shots. Signature mocktails and Iced Teas will quench the thirst of teetotallers. Tandoori tikkas and kebabs, fries and egg preps, as well as Indo-Chinese and Continental dishes, grace the appetizers section of the menu. For a quick bite, the 'Nachos Chicken' and 'Chicken Shawarma' are good. Salads, sandwiches and burgers with veg, chicken and mutton patties are also on the menu. The service is slow and drinks and food take a long time to make their way to your table.
I did not get 15 percentage offer on food and beverages. I was not expecting from them. We have made 16906 rupees bill.
The place is fab if you wanna have fun dancing. There are Bollywood nights and the dance floor is usually packed. The service for food and drinks on the other hand is pretty aweful and can bring down your experience if dancing doesn't cut it for you. The place cannot efficiently handle >60% occupancy without the service deteriorating. The cocktails tasted good but were usually filled with ice. So, make sure to ask them for less ice. Hookah is served only on the second level of the place and is decent. Again here, they fail to keep an eye on the replacement of charcoal, etc. which is kinda dampener. Food is average. So, summing it up, great place to shake a leg and nothing much more.
The place is very dark inside, seating is very ordinary, food was really bad ( we had ordered chilli pork and Non veg platter for starters and chicken curry for mains), some unpleasant smell everywhere, service was not up to the mark. The waiters were really confused and every time they used to bring us other table orders and the same for other customers. Its better to avoid this place and head to other resto and pubs in jp nagar.
If you are really looking for a place in South Bangalore, where you can enjoy food with live music and amazing bands, then this is the place to be. They have good seating capacity, live music section, a bar and good food. What else do you want to make your weekend more lively?
Overly blue-lit club on Restaurant Row. This stretch of JP Nagar has become the new Restaurant Row, with a plethora of bars, pubs, restos, and whatnot vying with each other. 55 Wallstreet is one of them, and a not particularly engaging contestant at that. It's Blue - very very blue - to the point where you wonder if they got a discount at the blue-lighting supply, or some such. Once you get past the blue though, the drinks aren't particularly bad (though Bud on draft. ugh), but they aren't remarkably either. The bottom line - you can do better...
Party hard for a Special Occasion at 55 Wall St. Bar & Kitchen in JP Nagar. The bar-lounge is pretty popular amongst the local tipplers for its perky colorful décor and hip lively ambience. Dance the night away to the groovy tunes belted out by their house DJ, giving your date a fantastic time. A full-fledged bar will give your evening a great lift. For a fun, exciting date, 55 Wall St. Bar & Kitchen is the place to be. Enjoy their outdoor seating, if possible.
