Anjappar Chettinad Restaurant

Here is my experience with this branch.
We planned to go here as there are no seeragasamba briyani nearby..
Outside seating also available which is good.
Tried kola biryani, mutton biryani with prawn masala..
Taste was good but superb.. they don't serve dalcha here for biryani..
Seeragasamba rice best combo is dalcha alone in my opinion..
Kola is like paruppu urundai here.. mutton pieces were well cooked and juicy.. prawn masala also tasted great..
Quality and quantity is quite good.
But i felt little expensive.
Customer service need to be upgraded..
Taking order and providing bill in time lapse mode..
Serving food and other response in slow motion mode..

Extremely Disappointing Dining Experience at Anjanappar Chettinad, BDA Complex, HSR Layout

My recent visit to Anjanappar Chettinad in BDA Complex, HSR Layout, Bangalore, was nothing short of a disappointment. While the service was decent, the food quality was abysmal, leaving much to be desired.

Firstly, the dishes were shockingly bad. The flavors were completely off, lacking any semblance of authenticity or taste. The Chettinad cuisine, known for its robust flavors and spices, was bland and uninspired. The biryani was particularly disappointing, with dry and tasteless rice that resembled nothing close to what one expects from a Chettinad restaurant.

While the service staff were polite and attentive, their efforts were overshadowed by the poor quality of the food. They did their best to accommodate our requests, but unfortunately, they couldn't salvage the overall dining experience.

In conclusion, my experience at Anjanappar Chettinad in BDA Complex, HSR Layout, was incredibly disappointing. The food was far below acceptable standards for a Chettinad restaurant, and despite decent service, I cannot overlook the overall dismal quality of the dining experience. I would strongly advise against dining here if you are looking for authentic and enjoyable Chettinad cuisine.

Ordered food plain briyani combo and received spoilt food. The chicken 65 which was given was definitely made a day before they smell was disgusting. This happened second time with me. You spent rupees to hav good food and all you receive for hotels is spoilt food. Not expected from a brand like anjapar.

The place for good Kerala food. Must try item is fish fry. All the fish items are good. The place also has outside sitting as well, which is much better than indoor sitting. Veg food is ok type at best. I am not an expert, but this is a good Chettinad food

If you like south indian meals and lunch/dinner you will like the food here. You will be able to get the taste of tamil nadu here in their dishes. The staffs are very well behaved. You should definitely try Mutton masala with Parota here, they serve really good parota. Their Biryani’s are not so great though, but other dishes are worth trying it.

hai all

When friends came over and I know they love good non veg food I had to settle for this. The meals were great except the quantity as it can be fed for more than 3 to 5 people, since I didn't know I had excess food but it tasted well so had no complaints,my favourite though was the spicy prawns and I ordered multiple times after that, also the chicken and mutton curries, everyone enjoyed and however the prawn taste still lingers in my mouth

Place is neat and clean , only meals is tasty . Non veg Briyani is average in taste. There is a elanir payasam is there, so tasty but cost is 150 rupees

Negative- No Proper parking.

Extra fee for parking

It's a Tamil family restaurant as it name, service is quite good, decent taste, good ambiance for group of friends and family.
I had chicken biryani there taste, please do have a look the photos I have taken taken few pictures while I was there I couldn't take much of it as of lot of people we're there

One of the pathetic and hidden things from Anjappar when ordering from Swiggy . We ordered parota and chicken pepper fry from anjappar and the order was showing as bommahallai Muniyappa layout and when we received order the chicken smells very bad and for 370 bucks they served in ice cream bowl of chicken when we contact Swiggy they informed they will give 90
Rupees then 140 bucks as refund and not giving hotel contact details . So tried to contact hotel and the call is going to HSR branch only and even not able to get any hotel info in bomanahalli so when asked HSR to give bomanahalli number they said they don’t have . So I planned to take this to the food and health department as well as anjappar spoiled their name due to such things . So people be alert when ordering from anjappar which location you are ordering .
