Dining at Aroi is like taking a food walk across Asia. The menu which is a marvelous selection of Pan Asian delicacies takes one on a joyride of well-balanced flavors and subtle natural ingredients. Aroi’s menu doesn’t limit itself to expected Chinese, Thai and Japanese flavors, rather it stretches up to include Burmese, Singaporean, Malaysian and Vietnamese cuisines as well. Dig in straight away with, soupy dumpling chicken, calamari with red chilli, lettuce wraps with corn mushrooms & water chestnut, Sri Lankan deviled chicken, pan fried fish with kaffir lime leaves, deep fried tofu with burnt garlic and spinach & mushroom dim sum. Second course is even better featuring lip-smacking delicacies like, Burmese khao suey, Singapore chilli crab, stir fried bok choy, lamb in teriyaki sauce, malay curry, Japanese grilled lamb and song of the sea sizzler.
Tickle your taste buds silly with an assortment of wonderful desserts such as, Vietnamese surprise, rubies with sweetened coconut milk, sticky rice with mangoes, snowball, Japanese cheese cake, chocolate mousse, wok tossed honey noodles with roasted almond flakes, red wine apple poached with tender coconut ice cream and a varied range of homemade ice creams. Inspired by the natural elements of Asian culture, interiors of Aroi are designed on the similar lines. Dining room is casually made with an ample use of bamboo. Slated bamboo roof and matted walls works great against potted plants placed here and there. From the roof get an amazing view of the lake. After paying a moderately priced bill, walk home happy dreaming about Asia.
