Koramangala is teeming with places to hang out and the Banana Beach Bar is among the older ones around. A beach theme, colourful seating, even a mezzanine set-up. All the perfect beginnings to a nice time. Steer clear of the water seating options. It can be a bit stagnant and may smell a bit. The menu here is what you expect from any pub – most of the options are bar foods – for those who like something to nibble on and those who need something substantial. Start off with the 'Batter Fried Spicy Chicken'. The 'Roasted Lamb with Bell Peppers and Spring Onions' is a good choice too. There is a paneer option in this as well. If you would like something mild, the 'Salt and Pepper Vegetables' are nice and crunchy and the 'Chilli Potato' hits all the right notes. 'Fish Fingers' are nice, but they can get a bit greasy at times. If you like dim sums, then you have a few options to choose from in meat and vegetarian. And if continental is the way you would like to go, then the 'BBQ Chicken Wing' is a good option as is the 'Grilled Prawn Garlic Butter Chilli Pepper'. You may also want to the 'Hot Dog with Chicken Sausage'. If you have the ability to go all the way, then a range of Asian gravies in meat and vegetarian is yours to pick from along with some simple rice and noodles. Desserts are nothing much to speak of but you can get your sweet fix with their options.
This had got multi cuisine offerings with different local flavours including Gujarathi, Rajasthani, Bengali and South style
It is amazing place with amazing staff. Food ,drinks and ambience all were amazing.i would love to go the bar once more.
Went her for a friend's birthday. The bar looks amazing! And it was happy hour. I was told drinks were half off so I ordered a more pricey one instead of what I was going to get. I checked with the waiter making sure it was half off.... Got my drink and instead of half off I got two of them. I did not want two. Took a sip and it was the most watered down Margareta I have ever had. My friend who's birthday it was (21) tried everyone's drink and was surprised that none of them tasted like alcohol. Then the music... It put us to sleep. But the bar looked nice.
Had a great time with my team at Banana Beach Bar last week. We were around 15 plus member. The place is very good and the crowd was very descent. Team members njoyed a lot with chilled beer and good food.
ambience is like shacks with loud music, swinging sittings, variety of drinks, hukka and food. staff is not well trained for service. mocktails are also not upto the expectation.still worth to go once in happy hours:)
