Barbeque nation stands as one of the major barbeque restaurants across the country. They have pioneered the use of barbeque or grill on the table. With ample live counters for exotic meat, kulfi and special one’s set-up for festivals, a meal at Barbeque Nation is usually an affair of pomp and gaiety. With barbecue and non-barbeque options like 'Mushroom', 'Paneer', 'Patty', ‘Assorted Exotic Grill Veg’, ‘Cajun Potato’, ‘Pinapple’, ‘Crispy Corn’, ‘Potatoes’, ‘Mutton Sheek Kebab’, ‘Tangdi Kebab’, ‘Chicken Drum Stick’, ‘Deep Marinated Fish’ and more, you can take a hard pass on the main course. From the main course, try the ‘Dal Makhani’, ‘Crabs’, 'Seafood with Rice and you are sorted. If Chinese is more of your thing, find solace in ‘Noodles’, ‘Manchurian’, etc. Do not forget to fill your tummy with ‘Biryani’ before you head to the dessert bar.
I was quite hungry when I got here, so the all you can eat barbeque meal was very appealing. The barbeque food is 90% cooked and then finished over charcoal at the table. A selection of very tasty vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is provided. The staff are very attentive and keep bringing more food until you surrender and lower the flag on the table to indicate you can't take any more. After that, a choice of delicious Indian desserts beckons. I arrived at approx. 6.30pm and received an early bird discount. Prices are very low compared to the nearby hotels, largely due to the lower tax rate that applies outside the hotel. I would definitely eat here again.
The service staff and chef really tend to your table and keep you involved in the gastronomical journey you have here. The chef took my feedback about the mutton seekh very serious and sent back another portion with the corrections I desired. I visited on the ocassion of shubho bijoya and the spread on offer was Bengali cuisine. The items in the menu were not authentic to the cuisine however the speed of service and the warmth covered up for it. I was very happy overall and would love to visit them back again They also offered complimentary mocktail per cover for the meal
Situated in the 1st floor of Lido Shopping Mall, visited the restaurant on a Sunday evening for a family dinner in August 2018. The restaurant has a nice ambience. In the starter, veg & non-veg kababs were wonderful and were served in plenty till one says no. The buffet had expansive spread and reasonably tasty too.. The service was quite impressed and the staffs were polite and were personally enquiring about the food and our choices, in fact they served additional veg starter too for our vegetarian family member. Price-wise expensive, but overall was a great dining experience. Recommended to others.
Personally not a big fan of Indian food. However, this restaurant provides lots of variety of food to try so you can try lots of dishes. I liked some and others.... The service was attentive and I especially enjoyed the dessert even though I don't remember the name of the ice cream like dish.
Starters are Oke. The bbq part is nice. Liked the prawns the most when the manager asked if everything was oke we asked for more prawns. However the prawns never came.. Main course is really poor quality. I would strongly advise everybody to go from the starters directly to deserts.
