This restaurant is a great place and a sign of relief for people who are looking for outstanding North Indian and Mughlai cuisine in Bangalore. The service is top notch and the whole idea of eating a good meal while you spend some money is a success here. It may be a good idea to get a buffet menu which offers unlimited drinks and food at a price that is quite worthy for people who eat a lot. The A La Carte menu is very true to its cuisine and they serve some really outstanding grills and even mains. It is not only just 'Gobi Manchurian' here. Try the ‘BBQ’d Special Paneer Tikka’ that comes with a cheese sandwiched between 2 slices of Paneer, literally heavy and loaded. They do make the plate look really fancy with all that colourful and artsy mess on the plate that is not necessarily meant to be eaten. The ‘Raan-E-Mastaan’ is something that you can not miss if you love meat, the special spices and the properly cooked succulent meat is really great to eat, something you would not forget easily. From the mains, there are the ‘Mutton and Chicken Biryani’ are awesome and the addition of whole spices in there makes it really flavourful. Apart from the rice, the mains even include really good preparations with mushrooms, paneer and potatoes that are all done either in Lucknowi style or Punjabi style. The drinks and mocktails menu, is really great and the choice of beers which are made in-house, is a great deal of substance and will surely cheer up the people. Even the desserts are special, ‘Ras Malai’ or ‘Mango Rossogulla’ are really delicious and not too sweet. Perhaps, if you would like something really sweet, the ‘Nukkad Jalebi’ is a nice option. Now, you know where to go if you are really craving for some North Indian grub and grills.
Taste of food was not satisfactory to the price paid . Ambience was good , poor communciation and feedback mechansim to be improved towards customer satisfaction .
I guess the Restaurent is still in getting a make over & setting up .. Food - butter Chicken starter was good . So also the cheese stick fried is a new idea and tasted crispy and cheese melting in mouth.. The other starter like Tikka Chicken was possibly prepared in Their own style where lumps of masala were not cooked and were available .. The Curd rice unlike traditional had flavor of some masala / ajinomoto, sort of .. which wasn't tasting well with curd rice The curries were very diluted and thus possibly lost its taste... Biryani - particularly mutton biryanis had fatty / elastic pieces and pure mutton pieces weren't many.. also they need to be cooked well The mouth freshners were good .. soft & scented nuts ..
we had great time in MIP. Wide spread covering huge spread of dishes, Authentic Punjabi preparation. RARA Chichen was a hit.
One of the best punjabi delicacies in Blr. Despite being in UB City, its not expensive and is a value for money
Was fortunate to have been invited for a review table at this place. UB city is itself a beautiful place to hang around and try out amazing restaurants. MIP is a beautifully designed place and I loved the fact it gives you the feel of being in the north although you are in south Tried many dishes right from starters to main. But i was more happy with the staters and drinks rather then their mains. Desserts were fine too. Special mention and a must try are the Palak chaat Nashili chai Lamb chops Spicy yogurt prawns
Bengaluru likes to shake things up after a while of monotonous fine dining routine by coming up with refreshing eateries to dazzle your senses. Lately, several classic restaurants have undergone a culinary facelift and emerged as the jazzier version of themselves. They have arisen more passionate, more attractive and if possible, tastier than ever. ‘BBQ’D’ has recently joined the bandwagon after its stint as Made in Punjab at the same location. Post its rebranding, the restaurant has come out even more popular than before and has geared up for a new inning. Their placement at UB City on Vittal Mallya Road, remains just as posh and makes it easy for the regulars to approach. BBQ’D intention is to bring together an ultimate grill and brewery experience under one roof, much beyond of anything Bengaluru has ever seen before.
BBQ’D is a contemporary newfound grill and brewery concept that for the very first time blends twin atmosphere, brewery and grill, under one single roof. They bring to the table four custom made craft beers, created by the finest brew masters in the country, and then keep adding to the wonderful selection every month. Food wise BBQ’D proudly presents a menu that captures the traditional barbequing techniques plus introduce a live Churrasco grill and Table grill to their entranced diners. Live pasta, chaat and dessert counters are set up to complement a menu brimming with an unlimited fare of dim sums, hand rolled sushi, gourmet pizzas, silky pastas and curries. Greedy souls like us can find solace in their generous all-encompassing buffet that lets you sample little bit of everything. With a drink of your choice nibble on BBQ’D scrumptious grilled appetizers.
Become a kid again by enjoying bit of candy floss after your meal or stick with their drool-worthy desserts like, chocolate mousse, orange panna cotta, tiramisu, gulab jamun cheese cake, chenna rasgulla, Nutella gulab jamun, sticky date cupcakes with caramel icing and laluki ka halwa. The menu of BBQ’D takes you across the culinary landscape of the globe and lets you take a peek into the glorious fiery world of barbequing. Interiors are designed to reflect modernity, comfort and class. Subtle earthy tones are used to create the space, which makes it seem inviting and upmarket at the same time. Sit next to the brewery plant if possible, to get an authentic brewery/grill fine dining experience. BBQ’D doesn’t put a hole in your pocket.
This place is best for those who love their share of beer and grill. BBQ’D – Global Grill & Brewery is best of both worlds. Here, you can munch on an assortment of grilled food with a pint of whatever brew is on tap for a Special Occasion. Menu is mainly North Indian but go for the experience of live grills that comes with each table. Décor is smart and comfortable. Pick this place for an easy laid-back meal with your loved one. Beg for a table next to the brewery plant. It will only add to the beer-drinking session. It’s located in UB City, Lavelle Road.
