Biryani By Kilo is a restaurant in Begul Habli, Bengaluru serving biryani, Hyderabadi and kebabs. Known for biryani and Indian mains; ideal for family meals and group outings.

I’ve ordered from this outlet more than 25 times, but the recent experiences have been very disappointing. Last week, I received watery biryani, and even after complaining multiple times, the issue was not resolved — they sent the same watery biryani again. Today, I received undercooked biryani.

During a conversation with the outlet manager, he remarked that “when you receive complimentary food, the biryani is good, but not when it’s a regular order.” Does that mean he thinks I’m only eating for free? I’ve placed over 25 paid orders — that’s hardly a small number. Whenever a replacement was provided due to poor quality, I never even consumed the food because it was still undercooked.

This kind of customer service and attitude is completely unacceptable. I’ve been a loyal customer, but unfortunately, the quality and response have significantly declined.

### Biryani by Kilo - A Comprehensive Review

Ambiance and Interior Decoration:
Biryani by Kilo stands out with its excellent interior decoration. The decor is stylish and modern, creating a welcoming atmosphere for diners. The roadside view adds a charming touch, making it an ideal spot for people-watching while enjoying your meal.

Food Quality and Quantity:
The quality and quantity of the food are satisfactory. While the flavors are good, the rice in the biryani was slightly dry and not as soft as one would expect from a traditional biryani. However, the overall taste was enjoyable, and the portion sizes were adequate.

Service and Staff Behavior:
The service at Biryani by Kilo is commendable. The staff is attentive and courteous, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor contribute positively to the restaurant’s atmosphere.

Parking:
A notable downside is the parking situation. It appears to be a bit of a gamble, as there are no dedicated parking spaces provided. Diners are left to park at their own risk, which can be a concern for some.

Overall:
Biryani by Kilo offers a delightful dining experience with its beautiful interiors and good service. While there is room for improvement in the quality of the biryani rice and the parking arrangements, it remains a worthwhile place to visit for a casual meal.

This outlet has been consistently disappointing. I’ve ordered from here multiple times, and almost every single time I’ve received undercooked biryani. Each time, I’ve had to call and request a replacement, which they have sent, but the issue keeps repeating.

Despite me sharing my past experiences and requesting them to ensure the food is cooked properly, nothing has changed. Even today, after yet another undercooked biryani, the manager simply said they would send another one the next day.

This shows a complete lack of care for their customers and no effort to improve. I strongly recommend avoiding this irresponsible outlet.

I ordered chicken biryani and ghee roast quite a few times. Faced different issues everytime. Sometimes biryani is watery, sometimes rice quality is not good, sometimes quantity is less.
For, ghee roast they were supposed to give 5 boneless pieces, sometimes I get small cubes, sometimes 2 pieces instead of 5 .
They need to maintain proper quantity n quality everytime they serve the food. Very disappointing. :?

We simply enjoyed the taste and the quality of food served to us. The service is little slow but it's ok. Staffs are well behaved, very peaceful place to have lunch or dinner with your loved ones. Veg and Non veg both the options are available. Don't go by the name Biryani by kilo, they also serves Paratha & rumali roti with Nawabi Paneer and Kadai Paneer.

The place has very less visibility even though it is on the main road. Once you get in, you would find that the service is good. But we felt that restaurant can do a lot better by suggesting it's customers what Biriyani to try out, and what are their specialities. The taste of Biriyani was good, but nothing new. The quantity of the food was a little less for the price. We tried Hyderabadi and Lucknowi Biriyanis. Hyderabadi is good comparatively. Overall an above average experience.

New biryani joint in the locality that serves biryani in handi, slow cooked until you run out of patience waiting for your dish. The taste is pretty good but bit pricey for the quantity they serve (all the Biryanis in the menu is half a kilo, can feed an adult and a kid) the ambience is cozy and staff has their own pace. There were very less customers when I visited on Saturday afternoon for lunch which speaks about their lack of visibility.

Birynai by kilo never let me down with their delivery or their quality of taste and quantity of food they serve .so got my hand on the big family pack and it came along with chicken ghee roast salan salad and phirni biryani in matka small choola with candle which is thoughtful of the brand .
biryani in matka gave good flavours in rice and the chicken was well marinated rice was well cooked and spice level was just perfect.
the ghee roast had different flavour than the original but it was super delicious and fingerlicking good .
phirni was soo cold and perfect texture and we'll balanced with sweetness.
it came along with salan salad and raita
the whole meal was great and had wonderful dinner with biryani by kilo .
Kudos to the team
